Gave Up Facebook

Gave Up Facebook? That Seems a Bit Crazy…

Thank You!

Gave Up FacebookBut it’s not. Let me explain.

The G entry in my unofficial A to Z Blogging Challenge (that I didn’t sign up for but decided to try it anyway but with a twist so I’m so just sharing fellow A to Z bloggers all month – and don’t read that run-on sentence all in one breath, either, whew…)

ANYway, the G entry today is:

Kim Morgan.

Why?

Well, I’m going to tell you, of course.

Starting with why she gave up Facebook for Lent. Not the whole Facebook thing, mind you. But a healthy portion of (I imagine) lots of people’s day. The Facebook Games.

She did. That’s right. Kim Morgan – a fellow writer and blogger participating in the OFFICIAL A to Z Challenge – gave up her Facebook games for Lent.

And for all the right reasons too. Her story is endearing and a definite must read for those who wish to receive a bit of inspiration; whether you’re Catholic or not, this one will touch your heart.

You may find this wonderfully talented writer at Mother Morgan, May I? (Great blog name, by the way…) but here’s my advice: don’t JUST read her latest post. Scroll down and check out the rest of her A to G (so far) entries.

Her Fabio post is FAB – she actually got to meet that fair-haired cutie and he’s not a bad guy, really. And her B is great too, because B’s are for books and this fellow obsessed reader agrees.

So she gave up Facebook games for Lent.

Hopefully it means she’ll be spending more time sharing her wonderful writing with us and how darn lucky are we?!!

~ Cheers
Sandra Lynn

Please note: I did not sign up the A to Z Challenge but am so proud of the more than 1000 who did. I’m dedicating every post this month to a different blog; some bloggers I already know and some I’ve yet to “meet”. A to Z…how fun AND fabulous!!!

Check out my latest YouTube Video and meet Eldin Northrup! He’s quite a character, that’s for sure!

I plan to share all kinds of great stuff here: bloggers for April but will mix in vids, writers, picture peeps, and whatever else I stumble upon in my internet travels.

I’m glad you’re digging it so far. Stay tuned 🙂
